But by loving them, aren’t you saving them? By giving them your all and showing them there’s someone out there that cares…  

Let me tell you a story about someone I know. This person had a best friend. Still  has them. I shall refer to them as A and B. They started talking, playing something. But from that, A started liking B more and more, as friends.  Then B disappeared for a while and A wasn’t sure what had happened. Eventually, after a few days, B appeared again. A felt relieved.

But only after a while did B tell A that they were this close to doing something stupid, but that B didn’t do it in the end, thinking that it would upset A. And B was right. That would’ve destroyed A.

I think a bond was created between them that didn’t allow that to happen. And that bond can also be called love. Love can take many shapes, from friendship or romantic love to motherly love. It doesn’t matter which one it is, at times, as long as you know there’s someone out there that considers you someone important in their lives, that is always waiting for you to return to them.

So don’t think that you’re alone and cannot be saved. Surely there is someone out there that cares about you, whether it’s your mom, your sister, your friend or pet. If you have someone to love, don’t throw your life away, just like that. And if we were to talk about suicide, first think about it very well. Personally, I find it a bit selfish and I don’t consider it a brave act. Quite the opposite. 

Life’s just like a game. You try, fail, try again, maybe fail again, but in the end you succeed. And you go to the next level and continue doing that until you finish the game and it’s ‘game over’ written on the screen of your life. If you abandon the game, you might as well say you haven’t played it.

My opinion on this? Think before you act. Don’t disappoint the people that love you. Fell down once? Get up. Fell down a second time? Get up again and continue trying until you manage to succeed. That’s the key of life.
